2022 Fall flag football season.  

OUR PROGRAM IS OPEN TO BOYS/GIRLS GRADES JK TO GRADE 10 (AGES 4 & UP)

The league is for both boys and girls of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence building, non-contact football experience.

Our league's goal is to build the sport so that players can play games in their own City but if numbers do not allow for the allotted teams required to run games in their City teams, players will be moved to the next closest City.

If numbers are low in a certain City we will make the decision to combine with another 3 weeks prior to the first game and let everyone know.

 

Locations will be the following:

Kiwanis Field in St. Catharines Saturday mornings 9-12.

Games will start August 27th and run until October 22 (no games on Labour Day weekend).

 

REGISTRATION FEES:

  • Early Bird Registration Fee $150.00 (June 26 - July 10) 

  • Regular Registration Fee $175.00 (July 11 - August 13)

  • Late Registration Fee $200.00 (August 14 - August 26)

  • Football Ontario Fees ($22.50) are included in pricing! 

$25.00 discount applied to 2nd and/or 3rd siblings. 

 

AGE GROUPS:

U16 (2007-2008)

U14 (2009-2010)

U12 (2011-2012)

U10 (2013-2014)

U8 (2015-2016)

U6 (2017-2018)

 

LEAGUE SCHEDULE:

Fall - Mid August - October

 

 

 GENERAL LEAGUE FORMAT:

  • Player receives a game shirt, shorts and a set of flags

  • 8 week season, consist of 6 regular season games together with playoffs and championship day

  • Skills and Drills day prior to the season starting

  • 12 player (max) rosters so everyone plays every game!

  • Practices are held an hour before the games or sometimes a coach may choose to run a practice during the week (during the week is not mandatory)

  • NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request. Single players will be placed on teams with some similarity and familiarity such as same school, neighborhood, organization, etc. as the other players on the team.

  • ALL coaches are volunteer parents and NOT provided by the league

  • Medals are awarded to the Champions of the grade/age division

REFUND POLICY:

We at Niagara Regional Flag Football offer the following refunds within these specific timelines. All refund requests must be submitted by email to your League Commissioner.

  • FULL or 100% registration fee refund if requested before the first game.

  • HALF or 50% registration fee refund if requested prior to the 2nd game of the season 

  • NO REFUND request submitted and processed after the 2nd game of the season

 COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS:

  • All coaches are volunteers and are not provided by the League.

  • All Coaches and Volunteers must provide the Commissioner of the league with a current background check.

 EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

  • Mouthguard is mandatory
  • Running shoes or cleats (either are fine)
  • Players provide their own water bottle for game
  • Shirt and Shorts (with no pockets) will be provided
  • Flag/belt will be provided
